"We've had a lot of sweat lodge ceremonies, and you know, they are really powerful also. And not only our people, but non-native people would come. And I wouldn't discourage anyone from coming, you know, as long as they're respectful. But we've seen a lot of healing, in the sweat lodge. And one time there was a non-native girl that came in, and her father had stomach cancer, and during the second round, it was really hot, I was just sweating and I felt these two hands like just like wood, dry as a bone, come on my shoulders. And when the round was over, she got a phone call, and it was her father, he had to go to the hospital because he had all those symptoms of the stomach cancer. And he said "look", he said "honey" he told his daughter, they had tubes and everything going through him, he said "I have no pain". And they did an exploratory and there was nothing there, but they were sure that he had the stomach cancer that was hereditary in his family. But there was many many things like that, and I think we don't have to control the spirit, we just let him work."
